Born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, I grew up terrified of the ocean, but I’ve since conquered that fear and now love diving under the waves. When I’m not near the water, you can usually find me lost in a book, especially fantasy, mystery, or psychology. I’m a proud pet parent to a cat and a dog whom I love with all my heart (even if I am a allergic!). As a mixed race, third generation immigrant with a Lebanese last name, I deeply value culture, heritage, and the unique stories that shape who we are.
